Anne studied French with subsidiary German at the University of Leicester, graduating with a high 2:1 in 1987. She specialised in Mediaeval French Literature and Linguistics and completed a dissertation relating to her stay in Alsace, eastern France. This period abroad,  spent near Strasbourg,  helped Anne to become fluent in French, as well as enabling her to make regular visits to Germany.

After twenty years experience, language teaching is second nature to Anne, who is patient and sensitive to the needs of the learner to whom languages may or may not be easy. Ofsted "very goods" achieved, as well as "excellent" and "outstanding" teaching performance management reports.

Now living in Derby, Anne is available to offer quality French tutoring for all purposes and to all levels. Lessons and courses will be tailored to suit your needs.
